Free entry to Colorado state parks the Friday after Thanksgiving

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will honor its tradition of allowing free entry to all 41 of its state parks the Friday after Thanksgiving.

The event called “Fresh Air Friday” aims to have people spend the day appreciating nature rather than focusing on material goods.

If you can’t make it to one of Colorado’s state parks, CPW still encourages people to get outside to their favorite local park, open space or trail system.
