Air Force Academy cadet dismissed, sent to jail for cocaine, lying to authorities

An Air Force Academy cadet was dismissed from the branch and will serve 30 days in jail after using cocaine and then lying to investigators.

Cadet 2nd Class Ethan Walton pled guilty to two charges during a court-martial Tuesday and was sentenced by a military judge after that.

Walton used cocaine on two occasions and made “false statements to investigative authorities,” according to a news release from the Air Force Academy.
