4th person arrested in Tranters Creek Way homicide
A fourth arrest has been made by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in connection to the homicide on Tranters Creek Way.
Detectives arrested Kyle Watts and is being held without bond at the Criminal Justice Center Jail on the charges of First Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder.
On Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 11 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the 6400 block of Tranters Creek Way saying multiple shots were fired and a man was lying on the sidewalk.
The victim was found unconcious and not breathing. Deputies started life saving efforts until medical personnel arrived. Once there, they tried to revive him, but were unsuccessful.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a third suspect after a man was killed on October 7.
Police found Kenyatta Horne dead in the 6400 block of Tranters Creek Way after a report of shots fired in the area.
Two other people, 19-year-old Beslim Torres-Valle and 20-year-old Tyler Lee Wheeler, are facing first-degree murder charges for the killing.
Tuesday, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced that a third person, 20-year-old Wayne TC Sellers, was arrested for first-degree murder. Sellers was arrested in Phillips County, which is in the far northeast corner of the state, and he’ll soon be transferred to the El Paso County criminal justice center.

Deputies have arrested 20-year-old Tyler Lee Wheeler in connection to a murder that happened late Sunday night in the 6400 block of Tranters Creek Way.
Wheeler is charged with first-degree murder and was booked into the Criminal Justice Center and is being held without bond.
The identity of the victim will not be released until positive identification has been made by the coroner’s office and the next of kin has been notified.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim killed in the October 7, 2018 homicide Thursday.
EPCSO says Kenyatta Horne was killed near the 6400th block of Tranters Creek Way that Sunday. Deputies were called to the scene around 11:02 p.m. after calls of multiple shots being fired and a male party was lying on the sidewalk.
When multiple units responded, the found Horne unconscious and not breathing. They immediately began attempting to revive Horne but were unsuccessful. The victim reported having died from his injuries.
In a post made to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office’s official Twitter, deputies wanted to express their deepest condolences for Mr. Horne’s friends and family at this time.
