Pleasant Weather for the Weekend 10-26-18
TONIGHT: Cooler tonight with mostly clear skies and light winds. Lows drop to the 30s and 40s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny skies continue into Saturday with an even warmer day. It will be chilly to start but by the afternoon, we warm to the 60s and 70s. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see an 80 degree reading around the Arkansas River Valley.
EXTENDED: A cold front drops in cooling many areas by about 10 degrees Sunday afternoon. Our western locations won’t notice much of a temp change. Skies remain mostly sunny as this front comes through dry. Monday looks to be another warmer day, perhaps the warmest of the next seven. Highs reach the 70s and 80s with 60s still in our mountain cities. Monday will also be mostly sunny but the wind will pick up so expect a breezy afternoon. Changes begin to move in by Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be significantly cooler both days as the chance for rain and snow returns. It is still far too early to pin down timing and impacts, so right now, just plan for those heavy coats over the Halloween costumes.
