Large sum of money found near Lowe’s in Colorado Springs

While most of us were hoping to become a billionaire courtesy of the lottery this week, someone found a large sum of money near the Lowe’s Home Improvement in north Colorado Springs and made the honest decision to turn it in.

Colorado Springs police are now looking for the rightful owner of the bills, which were turned in to the University Village store at 4880 N. Nevada Ave. on Monday.

We don’t know how much was found (we’re just going to assume it was a cool million). CSPD is expecting you to know those details, in addition to where the money was lost, if you expect to claim the cash.
