Much Cooler Weather Arrives Tomorrow 9-27-18
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and not quite as cold. Lows will be in the 40s to near 50. Mountain cities will be in the low 40s and upper 30s.
TOMORROW: Tomorrow a cold front will be pushing in. This will bring bring strong northeasterly winds initially. Once easterly, upslope flow develops, this will allow for low clouds to build in from the east. This means highs will be a lot cooler and will only top off in the 50s and 60s. Some areas across the Eastern Plains may be 15-30 degrees cooler. Drizzle and isolated showers are likely at times, especially out east.
EXTENDED: We clear out for the weekend with highs climbing into the 70s and 80s again. Remnants from Hurricane Dora will combine with an upper level system to bring rain to the western half of the state by Monday. We will then see chances for storms from Tuesday through Thursday with highs in the 70s and 80s.
