Colorado Springs Family Dollar’s windows smashed in 2 burglaries within a month

The Family Dollar off South Nevada in Colorado Springs was broken into early Thursday morning for the second time this month.

A tall white male smashed a rock through the window, breaking into the store and stealing electronics from next to the cash register.

This happened only several weeks ago too. Another man broke into the side window near the front doors using a rock and walked to the same area, also stealing electronics, along with a pack of lighters.

The store manager tells us this doesn’t scare her but she has been ensuring her security is up to par. She also recommends stores in the area use plexiglass so robbers like these ones cannot get through the windows or doors.
