Fountain Police Department finds wanted fugitive inside home
The Fountain Police Department’s Rapid Response Team located a wanted fugitive inside a home in the 800 block of S Santa Fe Ave. Wednesday morning.
The fugitive has been identified as 49-year-old Jerry Rossell. The officers executed a search warrant and deployed a drone to clear the residence. Rossell was found hiding in the back of the home and went with officers without incident.
He was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on his outstanding warrants which consisted of failure to appear, robbery, kidnapping, second-degree assault, controlled substance violations and habitual criminal.
