Fremont County Sheriff’s Office investigating body found, few details given

Fremont County deputies were called to the area of Chinook Dr. in Canon City on June 24 for reports of a dead body.
Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased female. The Fremont County Investigations Unit also responded to the call and ruled the death a homicide.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is withholding identification of the victim and further details.
