Election Day 2018: Results for state, county races in Colorado

Coloradans are turning out in huge numbers Tuesday for the 2018 primary election as the idea to give unaffiliated voters easier access to participation seems to be working well.

This year, voters who were unaffiliated with either major party were given both Democratic and Republican ballots, with the instruction to submit one of them. That’s a change from past years, when unaffiliated voters would have to specifically request one party’s ballot.

No runoffs will be in play, so after all of the primary votes are counted and canvassed, we’ll know who will be on the ballot for the November election.
