Tim Hardy is a rare breed at PPIHC
Tim Hardy is the last of a dying breed, “I mean it is great to be one of the locals that is left representing our area and being a part of it,” says Hardy.
Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Hardy maintains the legacy of a local gear-head running his pride and joy up the hill, “We’re kind of an underdog, average team and we get to compete with some of the factory teams, so it’s a ton of fun,” says Hardy.
At 24 years old Hardy was bombing up Pikes Peak but he’s been plugged into the Hill Climb his entire life, “I loved going out to spectate when I was younger and it was mostly locals with a couple guys like Tajima bringing the big bucks. It’s just different now,” says Hardy.
