Warmer Thursday Ahead 6-20-18
TONIGHT: A couple of storms have developed near the Colorado and New Mexico state line. These will continue for a few hours overnight before tapering off through the early morning. Elsewhere we stay partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows in the 50s and low 60s.
TOMORROW: Another nice day is expected with slightly warmer temps. Highs warm to the 80s and 90s with mostly sunny skies. A few isolated storms are possible but most places will stay dry like today.
EXTENDED: Changes arrive by Friday as fire danger returns to the San Luis Valley and Eastern Mountains. Relative humidity drops and winds may gust to around 40 mph in these locations. On the Eastern Plains, showers and thunderstorms are expected with a marginal risk for some to become severe. Temps are warmest on Friday, in the 80s and 90s. Saturday looks quieter with less wind and isolated storms. By Sunday, critical fire danger and severe storms again look possible with cooler temperatures.
