Quieter weather day – 06/20/18
Today: Across southern Colorado today, we’ll have fewer and weaker storms. In fact, most areas stay dry! We just have a slight chance for isolated storms. The ingredients involved with these storms will be pockets of rain, lightning, gusts to 40 mph and small hail. Beyond that, it will be a mild and pleasant day! Highs will reach the 70s and 80s for the lower elevations.
Tonight: Mostly clear skies are expected overnight. Lows drop to the 40s and 50s. Any evening storms should wind down.
Extended: Highs will be warmer the next several days. Thursday and Friday, we have a small chance for isolated storms. On Friday, the eastern plains have a minor chance of a few strong-to-severe storms. Saturday should be dry and warm. However, storms return on Sunday (primarily for areas near Kansas). Temperatures drop into next Monday. We’ll have just a gentle swing in temperatures throughout your seven day forecast.
