Colorado Springs police investigate shooting in Village Seven area

Officers are investigating a reported robbery and shooting.

Officers were called to Harmony Drive early Saturday morning for a reported shots fired call. Upon arrival to the scene, officers located several casings from a 9mm handgun and observed bullet holes in a vehicle in the area.

While investigating the scene other responding officers were contacted by two victims saying they had been robbed at gunpoint in the 3900 block of North Academy Blvd.

The victims said as they were running away when two unknown suspects attempted to shoot them.

A responding officer located one of the suspects and took him into custody.
