260 marijuana plants seized from El Paso County home
El Paso County authorities discovered more than 260 marijuana plants, 80 pounds of packaged refined product and an undisclosed amount of money at a home in unincorporated El Paso County.
Detectives from the Metro Vice, Narcotics, & Intelligence Division Regulatory Team along with a deputy from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department Rural Enforcement & Outreach Unit, found the illegal marijuana grow after conducting a knock and talk in the area of 1400 Allegiance Drive.
Based on what was collected at the residence, Zaizhen Xiang was taken into custody and booked in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center for felony cultivation and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. A second suspect has been identified and will be arrested.
