Teller County deputies arrest 1 after marijuana raid near Florissant

One person is in custody facing multiple felony charges after deputies with the Teller County Sheriff’s Office found more than 100 marijuana plants and an illegal butane hash oil lab at a house near Florissant.

The raid happened Monday at a house in the 400 block of Pikes Peak Lane (MAP). Deputies found 106 plants, 25 pounds of processed marijuana, and the supplies for the BHO lab. ( PHOTOS )

Authorities arrested Danar Hassan and charged him with three drug-related felonies.

Deputies also found evidence that the marijuana was being illegally distributed from the address. The house had an indoor grow operation and an outdoor area in the woods set up to grow marijuana illegally.

TCSO pointed out that this raid doesn’t appear to be linked to Miami, unlike previous raids connected to Cuban cartels.
