Pueblo woman killed in crash in Bessemer
A 41-year-old woman from Pueblo died after a crash that happened late Monday near Lake Minnequa in Pueblo.
According to our partners at the Pueblo Chieftain , two people — William Quintana, 51, and his wife, Melissa, 41 — were in a pickup truck going south on Lake Ave. when it hit a median near Indiana Ave. (MAP)
The vehicle then rolled over and Melissa was ejected from the truck; she was pronounced dead at the scene. Melissa was the passenger while William drove.
It’s not clear if Melissa was wearing a seat belt, but alcohol is a suspected factor, according to the Chieftain.
