Warm and dry conditions continue – 5/25/18
TODAY: Much like yesterday, warm and dry conditions will be present throughout the area with mostly sunny skies. In the higher elevations, temps will be in the upper 70s, with a few low 80s. Lower elevations will be in the upper 80s, with the plains breaking into the low 90s. We still have the chance for an isolated shower or storm, but mainly for the eastern plains.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear, with temps in the low to mid 50s, while parts of the southeastern plains will be near 60.
EXTENDED: Our dry and warm trend will continue into the weekend. Much of southern Colorado under a Fire Weather Watch for most of Saturday. Critical fire conditions are expected for Sunday as well. For Memorial Day, we will have much cooler temps, with partly cloudy skies. Our next best chance for rainfall will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.
