Bears found in basement of home in Jefferson County
It wasn’t Goldilocks and the three bears, but the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of bears inside a home Sunday morning.
According to our news partners at KDVR in Denver, the call came in shortly before noon about two bears in the basement of a home on Parker Avenue in Pine.
The bears were gone when authorities arrived. However, it appears they tore open a screen door. The homeowners had left trash in their basement.
