Other people still had months left in their enlistment but wanted to see what jobs were on the market. Jeremy Ala said he still had about a year left but wanted didn’t want to wait that long before looking. “I need to know what’s kind of out there right now and so really I’m here to explore the possibilities of what I can do when I get out of the military,” said Ala.
The five military installations across Colorado Springs brings thousands of people who end up wanting to make this their home. David Kintz, a veteran said, “this is a community that loves their veterans. They understand what we’ve gone through and the life we live and they said we’d like to transform those skills to work for our organization.”
