Strong storms possible today – 5/14/18
TODAY: More moisture is present across the area today, which will work to support some afternoon storm development around the Palmer Divide and the Eastern Plains. Most will develop after 1PM and will last off and on through the evening. Some will have the potential to become severe and could produce some hail and gusty winds. Afternoon highs only warm into the 50s, 60s and 70s (closer to seasonable).
TONIGHT: Easterly winds will promote low clouds tonight. Much like last night, storms could continue through the overnight. Severe weather is not expected, but some could be noisy and produce lightning and heavier rain.
EXTENDED: The long range forecast is classic of spring in the Rocky Mountain region. Each day brings some chance of showers or storms with afternoon highs in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Stay with KRDO for the latest through the week!
