Active weather day – 05/03/18
Today: Are you ready for another day of active weather? Today, we expect a mixture of rain and snow in southern Colorado. This will be primarily focused along the Palmer Divide and into Teller County. In those two areas, we could be accumulating a little bit of snow (mainly between 1-2″ with isolated higher totals). Elsewhere, pockets of light-to-moderate rain are possible. We’ll have mostly cloudy skies today with cooler temperatures.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies are expected. Lows dip to the 20s and 30s for most spots with a few 40s. Drier weather is on tap for the area.
Extended: Increasing sunshine is anticipated for Friday across southern Colorado! We’ll have lovely weather through the weekend with lots of sunshine and light winds. Our following chances for a few storms arrives next Monday and Tuesday; however, we’re not expecting major impacts from this next storm system.
