Colorado Springs police are looking for a 19-year-old woman who took her one-year-old son in violation of a custody order Tuesday.

Police say Dionicia Miranda doesn’t have legal custody of her son, Emilio, but she took him from a home on Mount Vernon Street around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. Officers attempted to contact Miranda but weren’t successful, so a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Miranda is described as 5’5″ and weighing about 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She could be traveling in a grey Honda or Hyundai, but a license plate wasn’t known.

If you have information about Miranda’s whereabouts, call police at 719-444-7000 or 719-634-7867.
