Cooler weather for Easter Sunday – 3/31/18
TONIGHT: As we go through tonight, clouds will likely increase as well as the potential for fog development. How widespread this fog development will be is hard to say, but it could make for a dreary and chilly Easter Sunday morning.
EXTENDED: Models are differing for Easter Sunday. Some are running warm and are clearing out clouds through the afternoon, others keep things partly sunny to mostly cloudy and chilly. It is a tough forecast and could go either way. As of right now, I think easterly winds at lower levels will keep the cool air and clouds in place through much of the day. That being said, I think you should also plan on the chance for a few sprinkles. There is the possibility that this forecast will head the other way. If that happens, things will be much brighter and warmer and we all win! For now, I think you should get those jackets ready for your holiday plans (especially if they are outdoors). We will keep you posted as we go through the rest of the evening. Warm and dry weather with high fire danger moves in by Monday. Slight chances for snow and rain move in by Tuesday.
