Easter events happening this weekend in Southern Colorado
There are a lot of Easter activities happening this weekend especially for the kids to enjoy. From family brunches to pictures with the Easter Bunny himself, we’ve got you covered on everything you will need to know this Easter weekend.
Saturday
The Easter Bunny will be visiting numerous sites this weekend where your kids can pose for pictures with the bunny. These sites include the Citadel , Chapel Hills Mall and the Bass Pro Shop
On Saturday there will be an Easter celebration from 9-10:30 A.M. with games, an Easter egg hunt and free hamburger kids meals at the Burger King on E. Woodmen Road. This event is free to the public.
There will be a Chocolate Bunny Egg hunt at the Bear Creek Nature Preserve and the Fountain Creek Nature Preserve, both at a cost of $6 per person.
A Victorian Easter Egg Hunt and tea will be held at Miramont Castle for ages two-10 when accompanied by an adult. Cost is $50 for one adult and one child and reservation is required.
A community Easter egg hunt with lunch, a bouncy house, games and more will be held at Springs Journey Church. Egg hunt times are by ages and start at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday
Easter Brunch will be held at Hotel Elegante at 10 a.m. for $17.95 – $42.95. Reservations and Prepayment required.
Colorado’s Easter Day 5K Hams and Hamstrings at the Stetson Hills Open Space at Dublin and Peterson. You can come in costume and run or walk in the fresh air on Easter Sunday and pick up your free mini Easter ham at the finish line.
