Coroner identifies woman found dead in Pueblo

The woman found dead in Pueblo last week has finally been identified.

Jennifer Rush, 40, from Pueblo was found along a jogging trail near the East 8th Street bridge on January 23.

Police believe she may have died from hypothermia, but the coroner is waiting for final autopsy results to release the official cause of death.

Her identity was unknown until Wednesday. The Pueblo Police Department issued a release on January 26, asking for help in identifying the woman. The Department even sent out photos of tattoos on her body hoping someone would recognize them. Fortunately, the plea for help was answered and the family has been notified.
