Man Facing Kidnapping Charges Arrested after Car Chase in El Paso County

A suspect who led authorities in a car chase is now in custody facing multiple charges.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested 29-year-old Angel Silva with the help of Colorado Springs police. Silva faces charges of kidnapping, menacing, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, vehicular eluding and reckless driving.

Silva allegedly led authorities in multiple pursuits that began at Cactus Drive ended at Pinnacle Drive early Sunday morning.
