Big warm up on the way – 1/28/18
TONIGHT: Skies will be partly cloudy as we go through the overnight, and most places will feel lows in the teens and 20s.
EXTENDED: The long range forecast looks quiet through the first part of the week. Skies will be dry and our highs warm into the 60s and 70s through the first part of the week. Relative humidity values will be low on Tuesday and we should have some gusty conditions, so look for a time of elevated to high fire danger. A wind alert may also be needed this day. Our next round of active weather moves in on Thursday. Places around southern Colorado will see slight chances for snow and much cooler highs in the 20s and 30s. A lingering snow shower is possible on Friday but most of the day should be dry. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s by Saturday.
