Wanted felon arrested in Pueblo with gun stolen from Fremont Co.
A wanted felon was captured at a home in Pueblo on Thursday night.
Nicholas Scott Thiele, 31, was taken into custody in the 200 block of West Adams Avenue at around 11 p.m.
Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office deputies were tipped off about his location. When they arrived at the house, Thiele tried to give them a false name. When Thiele realized that the deputies were on to him, he tried to run.
Fortunately, he was quickly captured. During the scuffle, a deputy suffered minor injuries.
While Thiele was being put in handcuffs, deputies found a shoulder holster with a 45-caliber handgun, which was reported stolen out of Fremont County.
He was booked into the Pueblo County Jail on charges of possession of a weapon by a previous offender, criminal impersonation, resisting arrest and a felony warrant for menacing.
