Colorado Springs police locate stolen car involved in robbery

Police are now looking into a stolen vehicle to try to track the man who stole the car Thursday. The man was involved in a personal robbery off of North Academy Boulevard. Police are searching the car for any stolen items and possible fingerprints.

The police pursuit started at Dublin Blvd. and Academy Blvd. Friday morning. The male suspect ditched the vehicle in the Einstein Bagel parking lot off of Woodmen Rd. and Academy. The man then ran into a nearby apartment complex.

Police tried tracking the suspect with a K9 and searching the area, but were not successful.

The suspect is describes as a 25-30-year-old black male who is six feet tall and has a medium build.
