Refreezing possible on Monday morning – 1/21/18

TONIGHT: Snow winds down through midnight and any blizzard conditions we are seeing on the Eastern and Northeastern Plains wind down around that time as well. Skies become mostly clear tonight and lows take a crash into the teens and single digits. This means there is the potential for refreezing of water on the roads. Watch for icy spots when driving on Monday morning.

EXTENDED: Monday afternoon brings plenty of sunshine with warmer highs in the 40s. This means snow will begin to melt across Southern Colorado. The long range forecast looks nice and quiet. Expect lots of sunshine with a gradual climb in highs by the end of the week. We should be back in the 50s and 60s by Thursday! Our next chance of snow showers moves in on Friday, but right now, things don’t look impressive.
