Thieves nab $2 million in jewelry from Texas store

Two brazen bandits are on the loose after smashing into jewelry cases at a Houston-area store and making off with more than $2 million worth of jewelry.

Surveillance video caught the heist, which happened on Jan. 10 at Hutton’s Jewelry & Gifts in Sugar Land, Texas. You can see the first man pull out a hammer and shatter the glass while an employee is just feet away.

The man then grabs jewelry from the case as the employee throws a silver platter near his head as the second man steals jewelry from a second case.

Police said the first suspect is in his early 30s, standing about 5’10” and weighing 200 pounds. The second suspect stood about 6-feet-tall and weighs around 200 pounds.
