News of Taco Bueno closures in Colorado Springs prompt job fair

Employees from a Colorado Springs Tex-Mex favorite closing its doors are getting the opportunity to snag a new job.

Nationwide chain, Taco Bueno announced last week that it was closing all five of its locations in Colorado Springs, leaving several employees jobless.

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center is hosting a mini job fair, especially for those employees.

The event will be held on Friday, January 19 at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eleven potential employers will be there including Chick-fil-A, Great Wolf Lodge, and Waffle House.

The event is open to the public and attendees are not required to register beforehand.
