Court Martial set for Air Force Academy cadet accused of sexual assault

A court-martial has been set for an Air Force Academy cadet accused of sexually assaulting a civilian in 2015.

During a hearing held for Cadet First Class Steven Fox last fall, the prosecution claimed that Fox invited the victim to a dance at the Academy, and instead of taking him to that dance, Fox forced him to stay in his dorm where he sexually assaulted him.

The defense argued that Fox and the victim were in a consensual relationship, but ultimately, the commandant decided there was enough evidence for a court-martial.

The proceedings are set for Monday, January 22.
