Removing Sports Authority signage to take several days
The time has come for the Sports Authority name to be removed from the Mile High stadium in Denver. However, it won’t be a quick process.
Removal began on Monday, but our partners at Denver7 reported that it could take several days to completely remove the signage.
Crews hope it will be done on Thursday.
Sports Authority went bankrupt in August of 2016. The Denver Broncos won the bid for naming rights and is still searching for a new sponsor.
