Critically injured Missouri officer flown to Colorado
A Missouri officer who was shot in the head and neck last month was flown to Colorado on Monday morning.
Arnold, Missouri Officer Ryan O’Connor, 44, was first taken to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for emergency surgery on December 5, 2017.
According to the Arnold, Missouri Police Department, O’Connor has improved enough to be transferred to Craig Hospital in Denver, Colo.

Arnold officer Ryan O’Connor was shot in the head inside his police SUV on December 5. The suspect, 29-year-old Chad Klahs, then fatally shot himself.
According to Jefferson County Sheriff’s Capt. Gary Higginbotham, Klahs had a second gun that police were not aware of.
