1 killed during shooting outside Colorado Springs liquor store

Colorado Springs Police say one person is dead after getting shot at a liquor store off of Astrozon and Academy Blvd.

It happened around 7:50 p.m. Sunday just thirty minutes after another shooting in west Colorado Springs.

Surveillance footage shows the man walking inside the liquor store, stopping at the counter and walking out shortly after.

“He ordered shots, but didn’t have proper ID,” said Kyung Kim, the liquor store owner. “He says ok never mind and went outside, that’s when shots were fired.”

Police said the man was shot outside the liquor store and video shows people outside running to help him.

The victim was found in critical and unstable condition. The was taken to the hospital where he later died.
