Mild Saturday, Cooler Sunday 1-5-18
TONIGHT: Another quiet night in Southern Colorado with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Low temps return to the teens and 20s with light winds.
TOMORROW: Some sunshine but thick high clouds will make a return making for partly sunny skies. Temps become very mild once again warming to the 50s and even a few 60s in far southern Colorado. Despite the clouds, Southern Colorado stays dry Saturday as a storm system begins to spread snow in to the Central Mountains along the Continental Divide.
EXTENDED: Most of the lower elevations will also stay dry Sunday, but with extensive cloud cover, a few isolated snow showers will remain possible. Winds will increase as a front passes through cooling temps a bit compared to Saturday. Most places will find temps 5 to 10 degrees cooler. It will be another mild and dry start to next week but another system arrives Wednesday bringing better precipitation chances to Southern Colorado at this point.
