Mild day with changes ahead – 01/05/18
Today: It will be another day and mild day across southern Colorado! The day starts of chilly with temperatures in the 20s and 30s mid-morning. Into the afternoon, highs climb to the 40s and 50s! We’ll have partly to mostly sunny skies. Dewpoint temperatures won’t be quite as low as what we had earlier this week, but we’ll still be dry.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies are expected overnight. Lows drop to the 20s and 30s. We’ll be dry and quiet into early Saturday.
Extended: Temperatures will be relatively similar Saturday compared to what we’re getting later today. Early Sunday, a cold front sweeps through the area. This will kick up the winds, cool temperatures and possibly spark some very light, isolated snow showers in the lower elevations Sunday. For the most part, snow will be taking place in the high country this weekend. The Continental Divide could pick up several inches. We’ll track that! Another round of chances arrives next Wednesday.
