Colorado Springs high school receives anonymous threat

Parents of students at Air Academy High School and Academy District 20 were on edge Wednesday when someone posted anonymously on an app saying they were going to shoot up the school.

School administration was aware of the threats and immediately notified base security forces, El Paso County Sheriff’s Department and Academy District 20 Security. On Thursday Academy Air High School and Academy District 20 deemed the threats not credible.

School was in session Thursday with increased on-site security.
