Pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run accident in Colorado Springs
A person was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Colorado Springs.
The accident happened at S. Nevada Ave. and E. Cimarron St. at around 5:30 p.m.
The victim told Colorado Springs police that a light-colored SUV hit them while attempting to cross S. Nevada.
The SUV then left the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
