Armed robbery leads to chase, arrests in COS
Two people were arrested after an armed robbery in Colorado Springs Wednesday afternoon.
According to Colorado Springs police, the victim says two men robbed him at gunpoint on the 1600-block of S. Academy Boulevard.
The victim gave police detailed suspect descriptions and officers were able to track down the two suspects.
They were spotted on Pepperwood Drive. Both suspects were arrested after a short foot chase, police said.
A K9 unit helped find a backpack with the victim’s property inside. Officers also found a gun.
Both suspects were arrested on aggravated robbery charges.
