Amtrak joins 6th annual Pueblo Rail Fair
Fans of all things train related will have plenty to do in Pueblo this weekend.
The 6th Annual Rail Fair, sponsored by the Pueblo Model Railroad Association and the Pueblo Railway Foundation, will roll into the city’s Historic train Depot on August 6 th and 7 th .
That’s where you will find the Pueblo Railway Museum, along with a traveling rail car museum sponsored by Amtrak.
From 9am to 4pm each day, kids and adults can take a self-guided tour through Amtrak’s past, present and future.
There will also be activities for the kids, door prizes, an impressive model train exhibit, and lots of rail-related vendors.
This is the 6 th year for the annual Rail Fair.
Train enthusiast John Denny has been working hard with local colleagues and Amtrak organizers to bring the Amtrak exhibit to Pueblo this year, just part of what they hope will be their biggest Rail Fair yet.
The Fair is open this Saturday and Sunday, at 132 W. “B” Street.
Adults are $5.00, with children under 12 admitted free.
