Pueblo PD uses social media to catch criminals

are successfully using social media to catch criminals every week since april, the department’s published two of the city’s most wanted criminals on their social media pages. so far, 36 crimals have been posted.. and more than half have been arrested. sergeant eric gonzales says the program’s focused on catching criminals who police beleive to be involved in gang activity. we’re targeting these individuals who are street gang criminals./ they’re causing a lot of the problems here in town running around doing drivebys things like that, so we specifically pick those criminals to get them off the streets. you can also see the most wanted in pueblo.. right here on krdo newschannel 13 and krdo.com. a local
