Man hospitalized after drive-by shooting in downtown Pueblo
A man was taken to the hospital late Friday, after being hit in a drive-by shooting near the corner of Santa Fe and 8th Street downtown.
According to a police spokesman, the man was walking near the intersection when a car pulled up and opened fire.
He was transported by ambulance to Parkview Hospital. Details on his injuries were not immediately available, though his wounds are not believed to be life threatening.
The shooting closed down several blocks of Santa Fe Ave. while police scoured the area for evidence.
Police were unable to provide further details, saying the investigation is ongoing.
