Siblings arrested in connection with Pueblo shooting, search continues for 3 others
A brother and sister have been arrested in connection with a shooting on May 26 that involved a Pueblo officer and deputy. Officials are still searching for three other individuals they think were involved.
Candelaria Dedmon, 25, was arrested on charges of vehicular eluding. She also was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Daniel Dedmon, 19, was arrested on a bond revocation.
Officers are still searching for a 36-yeard-old man, an arrest warrant has been issued for Joe Gaetano Romero for first-degree assault on a peace officer and Angelina Padilla, 19, is wanted as a person of interest.
At about 3:15 a.m. Thursday, two Pueblo County Sheriff’s deputies and a Pueblo police officer were pulling a vehicle over in the Northern and Beulah Avenues area, when someone riding in a black SUV fired a shot in the direction of the officers.

The deputy and the officer followed the SUV for brief time, but eventually lost sight of it. The vehicle was found a short time later abandoned near the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Jefferson Street.
A witness reported seeing three people running from the vehicle. Candeleria, was found at a home nearby and was arrested. Later that day, Daniel turned himself in.
