AFA place flags on graves to honor fallen
At the Air Force Academy on Thursday, former military members, their family and others were out placing flags at each grave site at the cemetery.
Every year, volunteers take part in the event that honors and remembers airmen and women who have lost their lives fighting for our freedom.
“If we don’t honor those who came before us, we are going to forget and if we forget about them, then our nations going to be in deep, deep trouble,” said Bob Green who retired from USAF.
