3 injured in Pueblo attempted homicide

Pueblo police said three people were injured in an attempted homicide Wednesday.

It happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West Adams.

Police said when officers arrived, family members restrained a Peter Thiele, 39, who stabbed three other family members.

Witnesses told police Thiele entered the home with a gun and tried to shoot a teen boy.

The gun failed and he tried to stab the teen, police said. Two female family members tried to stop Thiele, but were also cut.

All three are expected to be ok.

Thiele will receive treatment prior to being booked into the Pueblo County Jail as he is facing Attempted Murder charges. The reason for the attack is still under investigation.

At the time of this release a photo of Thiele is not currently available.
