UPDATE: Police arrest Colorado Springs shooting suspect
Colorado Springs police arrested a man Sunday night accused of shooting another man in the chest
Police said officers arrested Tavion Thompson around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
The shooting happened in the 3500 Block of El Morro Road on the southeast side of Colorado Springs around 1:30 a.m.
Police said Thompson could face attempted first-degree murder charges.
Police said the victim is in stable condition after undergoing surgery.
