Video: trooper narrowly avoids being hit by truck
Colorado State Patrol has released a video demonstrating the dangers that troopers and other law enforcement officers face every day.
The dash cam video was captured last week on US 36 near Boulder. It shows a trooper who was investigating an accident narrowly avoid being hit by a pickup truck.
Colorado law says that drivers must slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.
The driver in the video has not been located.
State Patrol says that it released the video in hopes that people will watch it, share it and remember that lives can change or be lost in an instant.
